Asher has been working as a Qualitative Analysis Research Consultant for 8 years. She has assisted over 800 graduate students, 450 faculty members, and collaborated on joint research and publications. Currently, Asher is a doctoral candidate at American University in Washington, DC majoring in Cultural Anthropology, focusing in Medical Anthropology, race, gender, and social justice. Her doctoral work is focusing on Surviving Survivorship: Adults Surviving Childhood Cancer. She received a Master's degree in Sociology from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA.
